God made you and put you on earth for a reason. He has a purpose and a plan for your life. He wants to use you in ways that are greater than you’ve ever imagined. But, you have doubts! “How could God ever use me? I’m not as talented or as smart as so and so, and just look at all the times I’ve messed up! I’m not good enough.” It is this mentality that limits your potential, causes you to procrastinate, and robs you of the future God has in store for you. You need to grasp God’s dream for your life and take a risk! Every great accomplishment started with a seed, a thought, some imagining and lots of faith!

Verses

Thought

Whatever God asks you to do, he’ll give you the power and strength to do it. Where God guides, he provides. If you want to be successful in life, figure out what God wants you to do and start doing it. Rest in the many promises contained in God’s word. God never breaks a promise. When you fill your heart with his word, you gain strength and courage for each step along the way.

Questions

What is one thing that you know God wants you to do that you haven’t done? What will it take to begin moving toward that goal? Are you willing to take a risk and move forward with God’s help?

Response

Take a step in God’s direction! Move out and begin to plant seed for your future. Ask God to use you in a great way. “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.” (Jas 1:6-7)

Prayer

Dear Lord, calm my fears. Dissolve my doubts. I stand on your promises and know that you can do more than I can ask or imagine when I surrender to the dream you have for me! I want to fulfill your purpose for my life. Guide me and provide for me. Humbly, I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
